My Story

With an eye for perspective, I started shooting in my childhood. I started formal training in the early 90's at Canadore College and have been learning ever since. Having earned a diploma in photography and graphic design, I started shooting headshots for a talent agency. In the mid-90s, I worked for Multi-national portrait studio and climbed ranks in the company, eventually managing their Canadian flagship store. I left that position and started working for their competiter, building their 3D photo studio from the ground up. Since then, I have worked with Shutter Studios in St. Thomas and have been freelancing photography and design. I recently decided to focus on what I love most; nature, landscape and starscapes. I sell framed prints of my work, but I also work on contract, big and small. I have worked on  a number of corporate and commercial contracts, and am also available to shoot on request. My strongest influences are Yousuf Karsh, Dewitt Jones, Philip J Bell and Karl Taylor.
